A note to new fcc.cc visitors: what is this site, and why does it exist?

This is a personal project that serves to channel my desire to return to a simpler time of computing, before marketers and profit-oriented motivations became the central tenet of content creation and the dissemination of information.

There was once a time when we believed the internet would herald a future where knowledge is public, available, and at the fingertips of everyone. Now, unfortunately, we all wonder how we can get a piece of the pie.

This site is not the great equalizer of human knowledge I wish existed, but it does have things I find helpful, and I hope you will too. If you have any recommendations or requests, drop me a line using the link below. I’ll get back to you.
